Note The Star Inn at Gellidawel, and nearby Tyntyla Farm, were at the centre of a drama which unfolded in 1862 and remains an unsolved murder mystery to this day. The Mystery of Tyntyla is recorded in the South Wales Police Archives in the Police Museum: http://www.southwalespolicemuseum.org.uk/en/content/cms/visit_the_archives/the_tyntila_mystery/the_tyntila_mystery.aspx
